We started using the fuse beads with the kids at school and I thought it would be a great project for home. So I went to michaels and bought the bake kit. I saw the cute ideas it had for cookies and decided to make some more food for Angels play food set.

Greetings From Radiator Spring
Angel is a HUGE Cars fan. He has been collecting every character. We don't have all of them, but we do have a lot. He gets them for making good choices and listening all week in school and at home. I have gotten into his collection as well, and find myself checking the car aisle at Target to see if they have a character we don't have yet. I cut the back of the packaging to make Cars cards for a matching game. (helps keep track of cars as well as characters with tricky names like Shu Todoroki to name one.) Needless to say this is a cars household.

The Perry Project
We are Phineas and Ferb fans, and I just love Perry the Platypus. I was on the Disney website and saw this project. I couldn't resist, so I immediately hit the dollar store!

Dollar Store Doctor
My son is fascinated with "Dr. Tools". Whenever we go to his appointments, he asks the Dr. To check his blood pressure or use the reflex hammer, so naturally when I saw a "Dr. Kit" pack at the dollar store, I bought it. It was small and lacked a few "tools" such as the sphygmomanometer. I knew he would want to check his patients blood pressure, so I decided to make my own along with a carry case.

McDonalds Happy Meal
As a kid, I loved it when my dad took us to McDonalds. It was always a nice treat, but now that I am a parent I haven't continued the tradition. So it had been quite a long time since I ordered a happy meal. One day after getting off at 6, and having to run around picking up prescriptions and waiting in the long line Kaiser, I decided to just stop at the McDonalds across the street for dinner. My son loved his Happy Meal, and was so excited to get a toy with dinner. Opening the Happy Meal, I soon realized that the meal had shrunk in size, compared to the ones I used to get at a kid. I was a little disappointed, but I then realized how cute the small packaging was and began to imagine my next project. McDonalds Play Meal.
Angel's Homemade Play Food
I am always looking for new projects to keep the little one and I busy! Creating the project is fun on its own, but once we are done we are left with something fun to play with. I love playing with my little guy! My favorite projects are dollar store and recycle creations.
